Oklahoma City Community Foundation adding to its downtown building (NewsOK)
The Oklahoma City Community Foundation is preparing to add a three-story addition, creating a new look for the entrance to the popular Ninth Street entertainment strip.
The foundation built its headquarters on the block of Broadway between NW 9 and NW 10 in 2007, but left the corner at NW 9 a green space reserved for future expansion.
The time for development of that property has come, and construction is set to start in January, said Jana Steelman, the foundation's director of communications.
The current building is home to 37 foundation employees, and the community room is used throughout the year.
