Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Kathy graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Computer Information Systems. She began her career with Coopers & Lybrand in Dallas before relocating to New Jersey to serve as the V.P of Finance for U.S. Vision; there, she assisted in their reverse stock split to take the company private, eventually refinancing and growing the business to ultimately take the company public once again as their CFO. Upon relocating back to Dallas, Kathy was the CFO for Brierley & Partners, a technology marketing firm positioned in the loyalty sector. Eventually, Kathy entered the non-profit sector, working with Ministries of Jesus for 10 years prior to joining the Innovation District. 

Kathy and her husband, Andy, have a daughter, a son and 1 granddaughter. They currently reside in Oklahoma City, where Kathy also sits on the Hilltop Clinic Board.
