About Aerospace Week

What is it?

Aerospace Week is a statewide celebration of Oklahoma’s aerospace and defense industry. Through a series of events, panels, student experiences, and community activations, Aerospace Week highlights innovation, workforce development, and the technologies shaping the future of flight, space, and national defense in Oklahoma.

Taking place March 30–April 4, 2026, Aerospace Week brings together industry leaders, educators, students, policymakers, and the public to connect the dots between innovation, opportunity, and economic impact.

Why is it important?

Aerospace is Oklahoma’s second-largest industry, supporting more than 120,000 jobs and generating $44 billion in annual economic impact. Aerospace Week creates a shared moment to spotlight this industry, strengthen workforce pipelines, and ensure Oklahoma remains competitive in emerging aerospace and defense technologies.

By connecting students early, aligning industry and education, and fostering collaboration across sectors, Aerospace Week helps turn innovation into long-term economic growth, right here in Oklahoma.

Who is it for?

Aerospace Week is designed for a broad audience, including students, educators, aerospace and defense professionals, startups, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and community members.
