Now Hiring: Part-Time Venue Assistant
Location: Innovation Hall, Oklahoma City Innovation District
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (hours will vary based on event needs and commonly go after 8 or include Saturdays)
Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Position Overview:
The Oklahoma City Innovation District is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Venue Assistant to support event operations at Innovation Hall. This part-time role is well-suited for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in venue management and event coordination. The Venue Assistant will play a key role in ensuring successful events by providing logistical support and serving as the on-site contact during evening and after-hours bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down furniture and equipment in preparation for scheduled events
Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and guests during events held after regular business hours
Troubleshoot basic audiovisual (A/V) equipment issues as needed
Assist with managing events from initial inquiry through execution when required
Perform general support duties and other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth venue operations
Qualifications:
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with physical tasks, including moving and arranging furniture
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
Interest in developing skills related to venue operations, hospitality, or event management
